noviniti Appointed Developer for the New Car Park at Queen Alexandra Hospital
noviniti is delighted to be appointed as developer for the new Multi-Storey Car Park (MSCP) at Queen Alexandra Hospital. Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust recognises that the existing campus at Queen Alexandra Hospital is under-provisioned with regards to patient and visitor parking on-site and this is, therefore, a key project to prevent congestion and further improve facilities for people driving to the hospital. The new MSCP will be created on the site of the existing North Entrance Car Park. noviniti has appointed Ballast Nedam Parking to undertake the project as principal contractor. The new MSCP will encompass a Ground Floor plus three additional decks creating 541 parking spaces of which 31 are disabled bays and 8 are electric vehicle bays. A further 30 bays are future-proofed to allow for electric vehicle charging expansion.
The new MSCP will be open for use in Summer 2022.
