New multi-storey car park (MSCP) at Royal Derby Hospital is now complete

We are delighted that the new multi-storey car park (MSCP) at Royal Derby Hospital is now complete. noviniti were joined by University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, construction partner Willmott Dixon and Group Nexus, who will operate the new car park, for the official handover. This marks the successful delivery of a project that will help resolve parking and congestion issues and improve the experience for everyone visiting Royal Derby Hospital.

Construction of the new MSCP began in October 2024. The 5-storey, 874-space MSCP is now open to patients and visitors, creating 500 additional parking spaces to significantly improve parking at Royal Derby Hospital. Included are 69 accessible bays and infrastructure for 20 electric vehicles. In line with the Trust and noviniti’s commitment to reducing environmental impact, a solar array has been installed on the top level to help reduce running costs.
